Function:
The Rev Up EV Grant Manager/Success Coach will coordinate with administrative and automotive program staff to ensure grant objectives are properly implemented, provide direction and support, and monitor grant expenditures for the Rev Up EV grant. Will oversee student support, reporting requirements, ensuring timely submission of outcome reports.
Organizational Relationship:
This position reports to the Dean of Career and Technical Education, who reports to the Vice President of Instructional
Services, who reports to the President of the College.
Qualifications for the Position
Required:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Progressively responsible experience in grant or program management and leadership
- Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and human relation skills
- Computer skills and the ability to work with database, spreadsheet and word processing software
- Strong budgetary skills
- Experience with Ellucian/Datatel
Preferred:
- Masters degree
- Direct grant management experience
- Recruiting and advising experience
Essential Functions
- Coordinate with the appropriate business office, grant accounting, and program staff to ensure that awarded grants are implemented according to grant requirements and objectives.
- Regularly review expenses allocated to grants and contracts to confirm allowable expenses based on the approved grant budget.
- Assists with preparations for monthly grant budget meetings with program and finance staff.
- Act as a contact for grant/contract related communications from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the budget and work with the grants accountant to ensure seamless and accountable reporting. Assists faculty and staff with equipment purchases, travel claims, professional development and other REV UP grant funded opportunities.
- Work with program staff, Assistant Professor of Automotive Technology and Automotive Work-based Learning Facilitator, and financial aid staff to disseminate information and referrals for students on the REV UP program, eligibility requirement, benefits, and where to obtain services, on and off campus, for students to succeed.
- Coordinate with the program and finance staff in the completion of grant reports.
- Provide quarterly updates to grant personnel on the goals and benchmarks of the grant and determine action plans to meet those goals.
- Communicate with other departments as needed so that all relevant parties are aware of grant activities in progress.
- Act as a resource by providing accurate and current advice regarding grant-related issues. Maintain a high level of awareness of federal, state, municipal, and other agency grant requirements.
- Participate in REV UP and automotive education grant meetings and partnership meetings.
- Work with program staff to provide support as needed.
- Make presentations to schools, organizations, and community agencies on CTE.
- Promote an educational environment that recognizes and values diversity, equity, and inclusion as integral components of academic excellence.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Student Success
- The Coach will coordinate with the Advising Office and may serve as an academic advisor to assist students in the enrollment process and provide guidance on course work needed for progression of education pathway(s) and registers students.
- Send reminders to students on academic timelines and deadlines including registration dates, drop/add, withdrawal.
- Meets with students when registration opens each semester to get students registered.
- Connect students to the Financial Aid Office to learn more about financial aid eligibility and support.
- Connect students to the Director of Equity and Access for students requesting accommodation.
- Monitor student progress and intervene to provide support and shift the trajectory of their progress as needed; to the degree possible, this should be done prior to students failing classes.

Employee is required to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision. Consultation as necessary is
available with the Assistant Professor of Automotive, Automotive Work-based Learning Facilitator, and Dean of CTE.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Employee will have daily contact with students and other College employees and will have frequent
contact with community. Duties will be performed in either a classroom setting or a business and industry environment.
Travel within the College district, as well as occasional overnight travel is required as necessary.
